This is a new club, set up for those in the community who appreciate good, constructive comments, Giving and Receiving

ArtCritiqueClub - THE CLUB

When you Devwatch ArtCritiqueClub you will become a member in the Club.

This club is for people who feel that Deviantart would be a better place for artists and students alike when good, constructive, criticism is Given and Received.

Each week a theme will be set, each member is allowed to Post 1 thumb based around the theme. Winners will be chosen and featured.

We encourage you to take part in all the activities the club offers e.g. competitions, weekly themes.

TO SUBMIT A DEVIATION TO THE GALLERY

Please state whether the thumb is to do with the weeks set theme.

You may post two thumbs a week + one from the weeks set theme.

ArtCritiqueClub THE CHAT

The chatroom is where people can show their thumbs and receive comments from other members of the club, it is encouraged to do so on the actual deviation, not just within the chat.

You will not be promoted to a member, until you have given good critique on at least 3 deviations. This is to encourage people to take an active role within the chat.

Only members (artists) are allowed to post thumbs. 5 EVERY 5 MINUTES. You may comment on others' art in the chatroom or on their site where the piece is posted. You make the decision where.


Each week a theme will be set in the chatroom, you may submit a piece of work based around this theme, the winners will be chosen and featured. _{Ideas of themes, please note}

Do not ask for comments, pageviews or favs, this will result in you being kicked, or if done repeatedly banned. This community is about helping everyone, not just individual gain.


The Chatroom is ENGLISH ONLY; this is to make sure that the moderators/staff can monitor the goings on at ALL TIMES. We hope you understand.

ALWAYS THINK ABOUT THE LANGUAGE YOU ARE USING as a club and chat we do no put up with racist, sexist or any other abusive or offensive remarks. FAILURE TO COMPLY to this will result in a KICK/BAN.

<sub>HOW DO I POST MY THUMBS IN ArtCritiqueClub Chat?
Open a deviation of your choice. After you have done so, you should see the following: Thumb, and then the thumb number. Copy/paste that in to the chat window.
